Test Series Concept

1.    Chapter-wise Tests: 6-20 tests/subject (May to Oct.)

2.    Full Tests: 2-6 tests/subject (Nov. to Feb.)

3.    Study Material: covers questions from txt book, previous yesrs board exam papers and reference books.

Flexibility

1.    At INSTITUTE Flexibility:

a.    Attempt tests of the chapter of your choice and as per school exam requirement.

b.    Follow Udaan’s recommended schedule or create your own schedule.

c.    If you miss any test, you have a choice to go for late attempt.

 

2.    At HOME Flexibility:

a.    You can attempt any chapter tests within the particular test window.

b.    Extension till Oct. is available to complete all chapter-wise tests.

c.    Decide your date and time as per your convenience.

Why are board exams so important?

Indian scenario: In most of the places for admission to higher education, selection criteria for PG courses  etc, consistent academic records are desirable with good scores in board exams.

Students will write all tests whose questions papers are designed exactly like board exams

You can check your marks by logging to UT website or UT mobile app.

 

Which option should I enroll, home or institute?

Both the options are equally good.

If UT centers are accessible to you, it is recommended to enroll in Institute option.

If you stay away from UT centers or any other personal constraints, you can enroll in home option.

 

Is there any flexibility in writing the tests?

Yes, here is controlled flexibility given by UT to students which makes UT test series very powerful from student’s point of view.

Institute Flexibility: Attempt test of a chapter of your choice, Follow UT’s schedule or create your own schedule, If your missed tests, you have a choice to write test as late attempt.

Home Flexibility: You can attempt any chapter test from given Cluster* within recommended date window, Even if you were unable to complete tests in recommended date window, you will still have a time till 31st Oct. , decide your timetable and date as per your convenience. (*Cluster is a set of tests of all subjects. There 3 clusters of chapter tests C1-C3 and 6 clusters of full syllabus tests C4-C9)

 

How are tests scheduled?

Chapter tests:

Institute Option: Every Sunday, 30 min/chapter, 2 chapters /subject, 2 subjects/Sunday

Home Option: Flexible within specified dates

 

For home option what does a cluster consist of?

Cluster is a set of question papers which are dispatched together to students in sealed envelopes by courier.

For home option, how will the entire testing process go on?

From UT to students (UT will pay the cost of courier)

1st Kit - Welcome kit dispatch to student immediately upon admission

2nd Kit – Cluster C1 dispatch on 25th May or with welcome kit for late admissions

3rd Kit – Cluster C2 with corrected answer copies and model answers dispatch on 15th June

This process goes on for dispatch of remaining clusters, corrected answer copies and model answers. All dispatches from UT are done on fixed date mentioned in the student guide book.

From Student to UT (Student will pay cost of courier)

Students can send the answer sheets for correction as they complete the papers. Students are supposed to follow the timelines published by UT.
